Overseas jobs fraud: 10 Delhi immigration agencies busted

The city police have foiled the operations of 10 illegal recruitment agencies in the city after receiving dozens of complaints from applicants who were duped into paying huge sums with the promise of jobs in Gulf countries.

The drive, codenamed Operation Overseas, was conducted by the special branch of city police. Officials said that the operation was launched after checking the functioning of recruitment agencies for over a month

The team raided various agencies on Wednesday and shut down 10 such institutions, seized fake documents, including over 1,000 passports, biodata of applicants, letter pads in the name of various institutions and agencies as well as fake stamps, seals and other illegal documentation.

"The centres operate mainly as travel and tour agencies offering services such as visa stamping and booking tickets. They recruit people on the sly, baiting them by publishing advertisements on employment opportunities for plumbers, fitters, masons and daily-wage labourers in Gulf countries with salaries of up to Rs 40,000 a month. Applicants, who approach the agency, are asked to give their passports, biodata as well as other documents and pay a fee for visa processing and services. They dupe applicants by illegally holding their passports and documents," said shadow police wing sub-inspector V Gopakumar, who led the drive under the supervision of DCP (law and order and traffic) Dr Arul R B Krishna.

On 26th December 2015 i have remitted an amount of RS 36525/- to the above branch for Hong Kong Visa processing. I have been received so many phone calls and followup mails to pay this advance amount and i Finally paid this much amount after i have not seen the interest they given before payment made, after i paid the money they told me to send the hard copies of my documents and also with one document checklist which is a complex one. The consultancy said that mutual agreement and promises as discussed with the concerned from the Vlex visa and immigration Services PVT LTD, i have trusted this Agency and paid this much amount without any guarantee, later they sent one invoice bill. but still i didnt receive my mutual agreement, and sent a mail to refund my money. Since i didnt receive any mail from them after this incident.Even the receipts were issued from their side which was mentioned the refund agreed and highlighted. As discussed with the concerned their representative had send me the list of documents and supporting which they need to submit for Hong Kong VISA and they told me it will not process utill this documents ready and send them. Due to the certain reason and circumstances i could not prepare the documents which Continental parmits Agency requested . Since i was not able to make that documents i have requested for the refund money which i paid and i have send several follow up mails to the concerned and neither replied nor contacted by Vlex visa delhit delhi Agency,  This is my heartiest request to indian law, Kindly take into this matter as your priority and shut down these companies As soon as possible to save other millions of innocent people. i have attached their invoice receipt which they send me after i paid . LEGALLY DOING FRAUD

Iam from Hyderabad and have applied for a AUSTRIAN SKILLED WORKER job ( urgent requirement) on SHINE.COM portal and World Overseas services called me and convinced us saying our profile is eligible for working in Austria.

They took Rs 40000 as their charges and got us signed with an agreement for 6 months.

First 3 months they collected all documents,PCC etc from us and they prepared a fake interview with Austrian Embasy and called us to come down to Delhi.

The embassy interviewer on the day of interview clearly stated that Agency is fake and no such job requirement is there in Austria.

We approached back to World Overseas Services and they said that procedure for VISA application has changed and now they have to send our file to Austrian Labour market for Approval. After 3 long months they sent us a Rejection Letter saying no such skilled requirement is there in Austria.

When checked with WORLD OVERSEAS SERVICES they bluntly stated that your file is rejected and we wont return back the money.

Nothing was done from their end . They just legally do frauds with people.

Its not only me , i know 3 more of them who have applied for Austria and they too got the same letter.

Never we were provided with proper information and we had wasted 10 months of our time and 1 lakh cash believing on this Fraud Agency.

Please file a case and sack up such fake agencies and put them to jail so that they wont cheat any more innocents.

Its a totally fraud company, i am cheated with Rs 46000.

Neha , Surendar , Abishek, Parwindar Kaur all these peoples are fraud.. Kindly go for legal action against them, as i am going to do now.. The money we earn by honesty and pain, How can we let others frauds us with that same money.

They might have not helped even a single person with visa, there are some post as wel in this complaint box praising world overseas services in malviya nagar. These complaint post are posted by themselves only to praise them, dont get fooled by such post.

Neha who convinced me to pay rs 46000 for the job in Canada,promising me to refund the money if something doesn't workout.But after paying the registration money, they will show their original colour.They will not answer your call, or if they answer they will cut the call on hearing the name.

They have all kinds of visa poster stick to their office wall,to fool their clients.And if you go to their office, their executives are busy in meetings, God knows what type of meeting... They will show you all kind of nonsense if you go to visit them, to fool us..

They have an aim to take the money from the job seekers living outside Delhi.. So that you cannot come again and again and spend more money to get the refund money back... They will keep on lingering your refund till you loose all your hope and money.. 

So please go for legal action against them, demanding the refund money + the money you spent in ticket and hotels as wel, bez a person lookin for job is a middle class or a lower middle group n cannot afford that much amount.
